progress from the past month
Over the past month I have been adding the final edits to my contents page, double page spread and front page. I have been looking at images to check they are appropriate, looking at text to check for errors and looking on a whole to see if my magazine fits with my ideal consumer and that there is little white space. My magazine is now finished and the final magazine will be published on my blog separately.

picture edit 5
I edited this picture firstly by flipping the image so that the model looked over to the right rather than to the left. I then removed the background apart from on the seat in which she is sitting. I also enhanced the colours on the picture to make them much brighter
picture edit 4
to edit this picture i removed the background so that i could use it in ym letter from the editor. It is a small image and i tried to make the model look professional.
picture edit 3
This image was used as a smaller image on my front page within the sectionon how to get the latest trends. I edited it by enhancing the makeup the model was wearing using a photo editing software and then removing part of the background. I kept the ledge in which she is leaning on within the picture to give some depth to the image.
picture edit 2
This picture was edited by removing the background of the image to give a more professional look to my magazine. I also enhanced the eye-makeup by using an editing software. For the target audience of my magazine this picture is very dark and creates an older feel. I purposely chose this image as some of the text next to it in my double page spread deals with older issues such as self confidence. I hoped that it would emphasise the importance of this issue, especially for my target audience who would be coming to the age of feeling like this.
picture edit 1
Here you can see how i edited my original picture to create the final picture i used. I used an editing software programme to alter the colours and soften the face very slightly. Form here i then went on the remove the background so that i could use the image on the front page of my magazine which has a faint dotted background.
